^{3 Ref} And the devil said unto him, if thou art the Son of God, command this stone that it become bread.

^{4 Ref} And Jesus answered unto him, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone.

^{5 Ref} And he led him up, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

^{3 Ref} And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

^{4 Ref} And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

^{5 Ref} And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

^{3 Ref} And the Evil One said to him, If you are the Son of God, give orders to this stone to become bread.

^{4 Ref} And Jesus made answer to him, It has been said in the Writings, Bread is not man's only need.

^{5 Ref} And he took him up and let him see all the kingdoms of the earth in a minute of time.
