We are people who exist to help others arrive at saving faith in Jesus Christ, develop them to Christlike maturity, and empower them for a meaningful ministry in the church and a life mission in the world, to glorify God.

Our Six Purposes: The IMPACT Approach
At Miami Seventh Day Baptist Church, we believe that our faith should make a tangible difference in our lives and in the world around us. Our IMPACT approach guides everything we do as we seek to fulfill Christ's calling for His church.
I - Intercession: Connecting with God Through Prayer
"Pray without ceasing."
We believe in the transformative power of prayer. Through intercession, we:
- Seek God's guidance for our church and community
- Lift up the needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ
- Pray for those who do not yet know the love of Jesus
- Invite the Holy Spirit to work in and through us
"And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us."
We make time for both personal and corporate prayer, understanding that our relationship with God is the foundation of everything else we do.
M - Ministry: Serving One Another with Love
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
Ministry happens when we use our God-given gifts to:
- Meet the needs of those in our church family
- Support one another through life's challenges
- Use our talents to build up the body of Christ
- Demonstrate Christ's love through practical service
"For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
We believe every member is a minister with unique gifts to contribute to the work of God's kingdom.
P - Propagation: Sharing the Good News
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
We are passionate about sharing the gospel through:
- Personal evangelism in our daily interactions
- Community outreach initiatives
- Supporting missions locally and globally
- Inviting others to experience God's love in our church family
"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"
The message of Christ's love and salvation is too important to keep to ourselves. We are committed to propagating this good news with joy and authenticity.
A - Action: Faith That Works
"Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."
We put our faith into action by:
- Providing for those in need
- Being agents of positive change
- Living out our faith seven days a week, not just on the Sabbath
"Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."
Our faith compels us to act on behalf of others, showing Christ's love through tangible expressions of compassion.
C - Community: Growing Together in Fellowship
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
We cultivate authentic community by:
- Creating spaces where deep relationships can form
- Supporting one another through life's joys and sorrows
- Practicing hospitality and inclusion
"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
In a world marked by isolation and division, we strive to be a community characterized by unity, acceptance, and genuine care for one another.
T - Teaching: Growing in Knowledge and Wisdom
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
We prioritize biblical teaching through:
- Scripture-centered worship services
- Small group Bible studies
- Discipleship relationships that encourage spiritual growth
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
We are committed to lifelong learning as we seek to know God more deeply and apply His truth to our daily lives.
