Psalms 27:4

Acts 7:44-51

Matthew 21:12-14

12 Jesus entered into the temple of God, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money-changers' tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.

13 He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a den of robbers!"

14 The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

Isaiah 66:1-3

1 Thus says Yahweh, heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will you build to me? and what place shall be my rest?

2 For all these things has my hand made, and [so] all these things came to be, says Yahweh: but to this man will I look, even to him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.

3 He who kills an ox is as he who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog's neck; he who offers an offering, [as he who offers] pig's blood; he who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol.
