⁷ They lie all night naked without clothing, And have no covering in the cold.

²⁶ If thou at all take thy neighbor's garment to pledge, thou shalt restore it unto him before the sun goeth down:

²⁷ for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? And it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

⁶ For thou hast taken pledges of thy brother for nought, And stripped the naked of their clothing.

¹¹ Thou shalt stand without, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring forth the pledge without unto thee.

¹² And if he be a poor man, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge;

¹³ thou shalt surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his garment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before Jehovah thy God.

⁴⁰ Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep fled from mine eyes.

¹⁰ `So that' they go about naked without clothing, And being hungry they carry the sheaves.

¹⁹ If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, Or that the needy had no covering;

²⁰ If his loins have not blessed me, And if he hath not been warmed with the fleece of my sheep;

²¹ She is not afraid of the snow for her household; For all her household are clothed with scarlet.

⁷ Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

³¹ So the church throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied.
