Bible in Basic English (BBE)
16 Ref For which cause we do not give way to weariness; but though our outer man is getting feebler, our inner man is made new day by day.
17 Ref For our present trouble, which is only for a short time, is working out for us a much greater weight of glory;
18 Ref While our minds are not on the things which are seen, but on the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are for a time; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

16 Ref Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
17 Ref For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;
18 Ref while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
