⁵ Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

²³ gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

²⁴ Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

¹² Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;

¹ Let brotherly love continue.

² Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.

³ Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.

¹³ Therefore let's not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother's way, or an occasion for falling.

⁵ Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.

⁶ Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

⁷ All my affairs will be made known to you by Tychicus, the beloved brother, faithful servant, and fellow bondservant in the Lord.

¹ A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.

²⁴ Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

⁹ "Thus has Yahweh of Hosts spoken, saying, 'Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother.

¹⁰ Don't oppress the widow, nor the fatherless, the foreigner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.'

¹¹ But they refused to listen, and turned their backs, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear.

¹⁰ So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

²⁰ Most assuredly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me."
