1 Ref Let the Lord be praised. Happy is the man who gives honour to the Lord, and has great delight in his laws.
2 Ref His seed will be strong on the earth; blessings will be on the generation of the upright.
3 Ref A store of wealth will be in his house, and his righteousness will be for ever.
4 Ref For the upright there is a light shining in the dark; he is full of grace and pity.
5 Ref All is well for the man who is kind and gives freely to others; he will make good his cause when he is judged.
6 Ref He will not ever be moved; the memory of the upright will be living for ever.
7 Ref He will have no fear of evil news; his heart is fixed, for his hope is in the Lord.
8 Ref His heart is resting safely, he will have no fear, till he sees trouble come on his haters.
9 Ref He has given with open hands to the poor; his righteousness is for ever; his horn will be lifted up with honour.
10 Ref The sinner will see it with grief; he will be wasted away with envy; the desire of the evil-doers will come to nothing.

1 Ref Praise ye Jehovah. Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, That delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 Ref His seed shall be mighty upon earth: The generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Ref Wealth and riches are in his house; And his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Ref Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: `He is' gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
5 Ref Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth; He shall maintain his cause in judgment.
6 Ref For he shall never be moved; The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.
7 Ref He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.
8 Ref His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, Until he see `his desire' upon his adversaries.
9 Ref He hath dispersed, he hath given to the needy; His righteousness endureth for ever: His horn shall be exalted with honor.
10 Ref The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked shall perish.

1 Ref Praise ye Jah! O the happiness of one fearing Jehovah, In His commands he hath delighted greatly.
2 Ref Mighty in the earth is his seed, The generation of the upright is blessed.
3 Ref Wealth and riches `are' in his house, And his righteousness is standing for ever.
4 Ref Light hath risen in darkness to the upright, Gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
5 Ref Good `is' the man -- gracious and lending, He sustaineth his matters in judgment.
6 Ref For -- to the age he is not moved; For a memorial age-during is the righteous.
7 Ref Of an evil report he is not afraid, Prepared is His heart, confident in Jehovah.
8 Ref Sustained is his heart -- he feareth not, Till that he look on his adversaries.
9 Ref He hath scattered -- hath given to the needy, His righteousness is standing for ever, His horn is exalted with honour.
10 Ref The wicked seeth, and hath been angry, His teeth he gnasheth, and hath melted, The desire of the wicked doth perish!
