^{20 Ref} And when they were going by in the morning, they saw the fig-tree dead from the roots.

^{21 Ref} And Peter, having a memory of it, said to him, Master, see, the tree which was cursed by you is dead.

^{22 Ref} And Jesus, answering, said to them, Have God's faith.

^{23 Ref} Truly I say to you, Whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and be put into the sea; and has no doubt in his heart, but has faith that what he says will come about, he will have his desire.

^{24 Ref} For this reason I say to you, Whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it.

^{25 Ref} And whenever you make a prayer, let there be forgiveness in your hearts, if you have anything against anyone; so that you may have forgiveness for your sins from your Father who is in heaven.

^{21 Ref} And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

^{22 Ref} And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

^{23 Ref} Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.

^{24 Ref} Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

^{25 Ref} And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any one; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

²⁶ `But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.'
