^{12 Ref} As saints of God, then, holy and dearly loved, let your behaviour be marked by pity and mercy, kind feeling, a low opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, and a power of undergoing all things;

^{13 Ref} Being gentle to one another and having forgiveness for one another, if anyone has done wrong to his brother, even as the Lord had forgiveness for you:

^{14 Ref} And more than all, have love; the only way in which you may be completely joined together.

^{15 Ref} And let the peace of Christ be ruling in your hearts, as it was the purpose of God for you to be one body; and give praise to God at all times.

^{16 Ref} Let the word of Christ be in you in all wealth of wisdom; teaching and helping one another with songs of praise and holy words, making melody to God with grace in your hearts.

^{12 Ref} Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

^{13 Ref} Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

^{14 Ref} And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

^{15 Ref} And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

^{16 Ref} Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

^{12 Ref} Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;

^{13 Ref} bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

^{14 Ref} Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.

^{15 Ref} And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

^{16 Ref} Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.
