Romans 14
Bible in Basic English (BBE)
10 Ref But you, why do you make yourself your brother's judge? or again, why have you no respect for your brother? because we will all have to take our place before God as our judge.
11 Ref For it is said in the holy Writings, By my life, says the Lord, to me every knee will be bent, and every tongue will give worship to God.
12 Ref So every one of us will have to give an account of himself to God.
13 Ref Then let us not be judges of one another any longer: but keep this in mind, that no man is to make it hard for his brother, or give him cause for doubting.
King James Version (KJV)
10 Ref But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 Ref For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 Ref So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
13 Ref Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
10 Ref And thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? or again, thou, why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand at the tribunal of the Christ;
11 Ref for it hath been written, `I live! saith the Lord -- to Me bow shall every knee, and every tongue shall confess to God;'
12 Ref so, then, each of us concerning himself shall give reckoning to God;
13 Ref no longer, therefore, may we judge one another, but this judge ye rather, not to put a stumbling-stone before the brother, or an offence.
