^{27 Ref} But truly I say to you, Some of those who are here now will have no taste of death till they see the kingdom of God.

^{28 Ref} And about eight days after he had said these things, he took Peter and John and James with him and went up into the mountain for prayer.

^{29 Ref} And while he was in prayer, his face was changed and his clothing became white and shining.

^{30 Ref} And two men, Moses and Elijah, were talking with him;

^{31 Ref} Who were seen in glory and were talking of his death which was about to take place in Jerusalem.

^{32 Ref} Now Peter and those who were with him were overcome with sleep: but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men who were with him.

^{27 Ref} But I tell you the truth: There are some of those who stand here, who will in no way taste of death, until they see the Kingdom of God."

^{28 Ref} It happened about eight days after these sayings, that he took with him Peter, John, and James, and went up onto the mountain to pray.

^{29 Ref} As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.

^{30 Ref} Behold, two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah,

^{31 Ref} who appeared in glory, and spoke of his departure,{Literally, "exodus"} which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

^{32 Ref} Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.
