1 Ref <A Psalm. Of David.> The Lord said to my lord, Be seated at my right hand, till I put all those who are against you under your feet.
2 Ref The Lord will send out the rod of your strength from Zion; be king over your haters.
3 Ref Your people give themselves gladly in the day of your power; like the dew of the morning on the holy mountains is the army of your young men.
4 Ref The Lord has made an oath, and will not take it back. You are a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek.
5 Ref In the day of his wrath kings will be wounded by the Lord at your right hand.
6 Ref He will be judge among the nations, the valleys will be full of dead bodies; the head over a great country will be wounded by him.
7 Ref He will take of the stream by the way; so his head will be lifted up.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Ref A Psalm of David. The affirmation of Jehovah to my Lord: `Sit at My right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.'
2 Ref The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Ref Thy people `are' free-will gifts in the day of Thy strength, in the honours of holiness, From the womb, from the morning, Thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4 Ref Jehovah hath sworn, and doth not repent, `Thou `art' a priest to the age, According to the order of Melchizedek.'
5 Ref The Lord on thy right hand smote kings In the day of His anger.
6 Ref He doth judge among the nations, He hath completed the carcases, Hath smitten the head over the mighty earth.
7 Ref From a brook in the way he drinketh, Therefore he doth lift up the head!
