⁵ And David sent ten young men, and said to them, Go up to Carmel and go to Nabal, and say kind words to him in my name;

²³ And the servant took them into Joseph's house, and gave them water for washing their feet; and he gave their asses food.

²² And David gave his parcels into the hands of the keeper of the army stores, and went running to the army and came to his brothers to get knowledge about them.
