43 Why are my words not clear to you? It is because your ears are shut to my teaching.

When he says what is false, it is natural to him, for he is false and the father of what is false.

Matthew 7:3-5

3 And why do you take note of the grain of dust in your brother's eye, but take no note of the bit of wood which is in your eye?

4 Or how will you say to your brother, Let me take out the grain of dust from your eye, when you yourself have a bit of wood in your eye?

5 You false one, first take out the bit of wood from your eye, then will you see clearly to take out the grain of dust from your brother's eye.

Ezekiel 18:28

2 Samuel 20:9-10

10 But Amasa did not see danger from the sword which was now in Joab's left hand, and Joab put it through his stomach so that his inside came out on to the earth, and he did not give him another blow. So Joab and his brother Abishai went on after Sheba, the son of Bichri.

2 Samuel 12:5-7

5 And David was full of wrath against that man; and he said to Nathan, By the living Lord, death is the right punishment for the man who has done this:

6 And he will have to give back four times the value of the lamb, because he has done this and because he had no pity.

7 And Nathan said to David, You are that man. The Lord God of Israel says, I made you king over Israel, putting holy oil on you, and I kept you safe from the hands of Saul;
