³⁰ My skin is black and dropping off me; and my bones are burning with the heat of my disease.

⁶¹ The cords of evil-doers are round me; but I have kept in mind your law.

¹⁵ My throat is dry like a broken vessel; my tongue is fixed to the roof of my mouth, and the dust of death is on my lips.

³ My days are wasted like smoke, and my bones are burned up as in a fire.

⁴ My heart is broken; it has become dry and dead like grass, so that I give no thought to food.

¹⁶ I will have delight in your rules; I will not let your word go out of my mind.

¹⁷⁶ I have gone out of the way like a wandering sheep; make search for your servant; for I keep your teachings ever in mind.
