⁵ I have kept my feet in your ways, my steps have not been turned away.

¹³³ Let my steps be guided by your word; and let not sin have control over me.

³⁶ You have made my steps wide under me, so that my feet are kept from slipping.

¹⁸ Our hearts have not gone back, and our steps have not been turned out of your way;

²³ O Lord, I am conscious that a man's way is not in himself: man has no power of guiding his steps.

⁷ The Lord will keep you safe from all evil; he will take care of your soul.

³ May he not let your foot be moved: no need of sleep has he who keeps you.

¹¹⁶ Be my support as you have said, and give me life; let not my hope be turned to shame.

¹¹⁷ Let me not be moved, and I will be safe, and ever take delight in your rules.

¹⁶ I said, Let them not be glad over me; when my foot is moved, let them not be lifted up with pride against me.

¹¹ My feet have gone in his steps; I have kept in his way, without turning to one side or to the other.

⁹ He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the evil-doers will come to their end in the dark night, for by strength no man will overcome.

¹⁸ If I say, My foot is slipping; your mercy, O Lord, is my support.
