^{4 Ref} Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

^{5 Ref} For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

^{6 Ref} Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

^{4 Ref} After hearing of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have for all the saints,

^{5 Ref} Through the hope which is in store for you in heaven; knowledge of which was given to you before in the true word of the good news,

^{6 Ref} Which has come to you; and which in all the world is giving fruit and increase, as it has done in you from the day when it came to your ears and you had true knowledge of the grace of God;
