1 Corinthians 6
King James Version (KJV)
18 Ref Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 Ref What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 Ref For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
18 Ref flee the whoredom; every sin -- whatever a man may commit -- is without the body, and he who is committing whoredom, against his own body doth sin.
19 Ref Have ye not known that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own,
20 Ref for ye were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
Bible in Basic English (BBE)
18 Ref Keep away from the desires of the flesh. Every sin which a man does is outside of the body; but he who goes after the desires of the flesh does evil to his body.
19 Ref Or are you not conscious that your body is a house for the Holy Spirit which is in you, and which has been given to you by God? and you are not the owners of yourselves;
20 Ref For a payment has been made for you: let God be honoured in your body.
