John 8
World English Bible (WEB)
4 they told him, "Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act.
5 Ref Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such. What then do you say about her?"
6 Ref They said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down, and wrote on the ground with his finger.
7 Ref But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her."
8 Again he stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground.
9 Ref They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.
10 Ref Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, "Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?"
11 Ref She said, "No one, Lord." Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more."
12 Ref Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life."

4 they say unto him, Teacher, this woman hath been taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Ref Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such: what then sayest thou of her?
6 Ref And this they said, trying him, that they might have `whereof' to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground.
7 Ref But when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground.
9 Ref And they, when they heard it, went out one by one, beginning from the eldest, `even' unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the midst.
10 Ref And Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee?
11 Ref And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.
12 Ref Again therefore Jesus spake unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.
King James Version (KJV)
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Ref Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 Ref This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 Ref So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9 Ref And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 Ref When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 Ref She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
12 Ref Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
