1 Ref Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 Ref Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 Ref Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them.
4 Ref They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.
5 Ref Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky.
6 Ref When this sound was heard, the multitude came together, and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language.

4 Ref And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 Ref Now there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.
6 Ref And when this sound was heard, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speaking in his own language.

1 Ref And in the day of the Pentecost being fulfilled, they were all with one accord at the same place,
2 Ref and there came suddenly out of the heaven a sound as of a bearing violent breath, and it filled all the house where they were sitting,
3 Ref and there appeared to them divided tongues, as it were of fire; it sat also upon each one of them,
4 Ref and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, according as the Spirit was giving them to declare.
5 Ref And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation of those under the heaven,
6 Ref and the rumour of this having come, the multitude came together, and was confounded, because they were each one hearing them speaking in his proper dialect,
