^{15 Ref} Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

^{16 Ref} For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn't the Father's, but is the world's.

^{17 Ref} The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God's will remains forever.

^{15 Ref} Have no love for the world or for the things which are in the world. If any man has love for the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

^{16 Ref} Because everything in the world, the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but of the world.

^{17 Ref} And the world and its desires is coming to an end: but he who does God's pleasure is living for ever.
