^{1 Ref} A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

^{2 Ref} She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth.

^{3 Ref} Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.

^{4 Ref} His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.

^{5 Ref} She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Her child was caught up to God, and to his throne.

^{6 Ref} The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.

^{7 Ref} There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war.

^{8 Ref} They didn't prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven.

^{9 Ref} The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

^{10 Ref} I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.

^{11 Ref} They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death.

^{12 Ref} Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time."

^{13 Ref} When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

^{14 Ref} Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

^{15 Ref} The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after the woman like a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.

^{16 Ref} The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon spewed out of his mouth.

^{17 Ref} The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep God's commandments and hold Jesus' testimony.

^{3 Ref} And there was seen another sign in the heaven, and, lo, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his head seven diadems,

^{4 Ref} and his tail doth draw the third of the stars of the heaven, and he did cast them to the earth; and the dragon did stand before the woman who is about to bring forth, that when she may bring forth, her child he may devour;

^{5 Ref} and she brought forth a male child, who is about to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, and caught away was her child unto God and His throne,

^{6 Ref} and the woman did flee to the wilderness, where she hath a place made ready from God, that there they may nourish her -- days a thousand, two hundred, sixty.

^{7 Ref} And there came war in the heaven; Michael and his messengers did war against the dragon, and the dragon did war, and his messengers,

^{8 Ref} and they did not prevail, nor was their place found any more in the heaven;

^{9 Ref} and the great dragon was cast forth -- the old serpent, who is called `Devil,' and `the Adversary,' who is leading astray the whole world -- he was cast forth to the earth, and his messengers were cast forth with him.

^{10 Ref} And I heard a great voice saying in the heaven, `Now did come the salvation, and the power, and the reign, of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because cast down was the accuser of our brethren, who is accusing them before our God day and night;

^{11 Ref} and they did overcome him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life -- unto death;

^{12 Ref} because of this be glad, ye heavens, and those in them who do tabernacle; wo to those inhabiting the land and the sea, because the Devil did go down unto you, having great wrath, having known that he hath little time.'

^{13 Ref} And when the dragon saw that he was cast forth to the earth, he pursued the woman who did bring forth the male,

^{14 Ref} and there were given to the woman two wings of the great eagle, that she may fly to the wilderness, to her place, where she is nourished a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent;

^{15 Ref} and the serpent did cast forth after the woman, out of his mouth, water as a river, that he may cause her to be carried away by the river,

^{16 Ref} and the land did help the woman, and the land did open its mouth and did swallow up the river, that the dragon did cast forth out of his mouth;

^{17 Ref} and the dragon was angry against the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, those keeping the commands of God, and having the testimony of Jesus Christ.

^{4 Ref} And his tail was pulling a third part of the stars of heaven down to the earth, and the dragon took his place before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when the birth had taken place he might put an end to her child.

^{5 Ref} And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who was to have rule over all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was taken up to God and to his high seat.

^{6 Ref} And the woman went in flight to the waste land, where she has a place made ready by God, so that there they may give her food a thousand, two hundred and sixty days.

^{7 Ref} And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels going out to the fight with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels made war,

^{8 Ref} And they were overcome, and there was no more place for them in heaven.

^{9 Ref} And the great dragon was forced down, the old snake, who is named the Evil One and Satan, by whom all the earth is turned from the right way; he was forced down to the earth, and his angels were forced down with him.

^{10 Ref} And a great voice in heaven came to my ears, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: because he who says evil against our brothers before our God day and night is forced down.

^{11 Ref} And they overcame him through the blood of the Lamb and the word of their witness; and loving not their lives they freely gave themselves up to death.

^{12 Ref} Be glad then, O heavens, and you who are in them. But there is trouble for the earth and the sea: because the Evil One has come down to you, being very angry, having the knowledge that he has but a short time.

^{13 Ref} And when the dragon saw that he was forced down to the earth, he made cruel attacks on the woman who gave birth to the male child.

^{14 Ref} And there were given to the woman two wings of a great eagle, so that she might go in flight into the waste land, to her place, where she is given food for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the snake.

^{15 Ref} And the snake sent out of his mouth after the woman a river of water, so that she might be taken away by the stream.

^{16 Ref} And the earth gave help to the woman, and with open mouth took up the river which the dragon sent out of his mouth.

^{17 Ref} And the dragon was angry with the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her seed, who keep the orders of God, and the witness of Jesus:
