¹² giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;

¹¹ in whom also we were assigned an inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his will;

³² Now, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where the context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} I entrust you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

²⁰ giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father;

¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

¹⁵ And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

¹⁸ having the eyes of your hearts{TR reads "understanding" instead of "hearts"} enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

²³ to the general assembly and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:

¹ Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;

¹⁴ who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

¹⁷ Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him.

² that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

⁴ nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks.

⁹ With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God.

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled in his blood: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

⁴ to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn't fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

⁵ who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹ I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed.

³ that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

¹ Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

² Beloved, now we are children of God, and it is not yet revealed what we will be. But we know that, when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is.

³ Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

²³ The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

⁵ There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

²¹ Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, For his wonderful works to the children of men!

²² Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare his works with singing.

⁶ one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all.

⁶ that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the Gospel,

⁵ Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.

²³ I thank you, and praise you, you God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we desired of you; for you have made known to us the king's matter.

¹⁹ The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light to you: but Yahweh will be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.

²⁰ Your sun shall no more go down, neither shall your moon withdraw itself; for Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.

¹ The plans of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from Yahweh.

¹⁸ But the path of the righteous is like the dawning light, That shines more and more until the perfect day.

⁷ Return to your rest, my soul, For Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you.

¹¹ Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.

¹³ So we, your people and sheep of your pasture, Will give you thanks forever. We will praise you forever, to all generations.

⁹ For with you is the spring of life. In your light shall we see light.

²⁰ David said to all the assembly, Now bless Yahweh your God. All the assembly blessed Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshiped Yahweh, and the king.

³⁴ Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

²³ But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers.

²³ Now I do this for the Gospel's sake, that I may be a joint partaker of it.

⁶ yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.

²⁷ Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in fleshly things.

¹⁷ But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree;

²³ and that he might make known the riches of his glory on vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory,

²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}

³⁰ Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.

¹⁷ and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, "Don't touch me, for I haven't yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers, and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"

⁶ Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

⁷ The house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready at the quarry; and there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
