2 Samuel 11:15-17

15 He wrote in the letter, saying, Set Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire you from him, that he may be struck, and die.

16 It happened, when Joab kept watch on the city, that he assigned Uriah to the place where he knew that valiant men were.

17 The men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people, even of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.

2 Samuel 3:27

27 When Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into the midst of the gate to speak with him quietly, and struck him there in the body, so that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.

Deuteronomy 19:11-12

11 But if any man hate his neighbor, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and strike him mortally so that he dies, and he flee into one of these cities;

12 then the elders of his city shall send and bring him there, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.

Exodus 21:12-14

12 "One who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death,

13 but not if it is unintentional, but God allows it to happen: then I will appoint you a place where he shall flee.

14 If a man schemes and comes presumptuously on his neighbor to kill him, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.

Exodus 20:13

13 "You shall not murder.
