²⁵ They were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

⁷ Both of their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

¹⁰ The man said, "I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself."

¹¹ God said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"

¹¹ For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed."

⁹ Those who fashion an engraved image are all of them vanity; and the things that they delight in shall not profit; and their own witnesses don't see, nor know: that they may be disappointed.

¹⁷ Let me not be disappointed, Yahweh, for I have called on you. Let the wicked be disappointed. Let them be silent in Sheol.

³ Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
