² He will not cry, nor lift up his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street.

¹⁶ and charged them that they should not make him known:

¹⁷ that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,

¹⁸ "Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. He will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.

¹⁹ He will not strive, nor shout; Neither will anyone hear his voice in the streets.

²⁰ He won't break a bruised reed. He won't quench a smoking flax, Until he leads justice to victory.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; Lowly, and riding on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

²⁰ Being asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The Kingdom of God doesn't come with observation;

²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.
