Jeremiah 11:13

13 For according to the number of your cities are your gods, Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have you set up altars to the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal.

Jeremiah 2:28

2 Kings 23:13

Jeremiah 3:1-2

1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, will he return to her again? Won't that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the prostitute with many lovers; yet return again to me, says Yahweh.

2 Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see; where have you not been lain with? By the ways have you sat for them, as an Arabian in the wilderness; and you have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness.

Isaiah 2:8

8 Their land also is full of idols. They worship the work of their own hands, That which their own fingers have made.

2 Kings 23:4-5

4 The king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the threshold, to bring forth out of the temple of Yahweh all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the Asherah, and for all the host of the sky, and he burned them outside of Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron, and carried the ashes of them to Bethel.

5 He put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of the sky.

2 Kings 21:4-5

4 He built altars in the house of Yahweh, of which Yahweh said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

5 He built altars for all the host of the sky in the two courts of the house of Yahweh.

Deuteronomy 32:16-17

16 They moved him to jealousy with strange [gods]; With abominations provoked they him to anger.

17 They sacrificed to demons, [which were] no God, To gods that they didn't know, To new [gods] that came up of late, Which your fathers didn't dread.
