24 They are exalted; yet a little while, and they are gone. Yes, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all others, And are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.

Psalms 37:10

10 For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn't there.

Revelation 14:14-20

14 I looked, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 Another angel came out from the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Send forth your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!"

16 He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 Another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.

18 Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth's grapes are fully ripe!"

19 The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20 The winepress was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out from the winepress, even to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.{1600 stadia = 296 kilometers or 184 miles}

James 5:1-3

1 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming on you.

2 Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten.

3 Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you, and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.

James 1:11

11 For the sun arises with the scorching wind, and withers the grass, and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in his pursuits.

Isaiah 17:5-6

5 It shall be as when the harvester gathers the standing grain, and his arm reaps the ears; yes, it shall be as when one gleans ears in the valley of Rephaim.

6 Yet there shall be left therein gleanings, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost branches of a fruitful tree, says Yahweh, the God of Israel.

Psalms 92:7

7 Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever.

Psalms 73:19

19 How they are suddenly destroyed! They are completely swept away with terrors.

Psalms 37:35-36

35 I have seen the wicked in great power, Spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.

36 But he passed away, and, behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.

Job 20:5

5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, The joy of the godless but for a moment?

Job 14:21

21 His sons come to honor, and he doesn't know it; They are brought low, but he doesn't perceive it of them.

Job 8:22

22 Those who hate you shall be clothed with shame. The tent of the wicked shall be no more."
