³² It is another who testifies about me. I know that the testimony which he testifies about me is true.

⁶ This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

⁷ For there are three who testify{Only a few recent manuscripts add "in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that testify on earth"}:

⁸ the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.

⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is God's testimony which he has testified concerning his Son.

⁵⁰ I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak."

²⁸ Father, glorify your name!" Then there came a voice out of the sky, saying, "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again."

³³ I didn't recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, 'On whomever you will see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'

²² and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form as a dove on him; and a voice came out of the sky, saying "You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased."

¹¹ A voice came out of the sky, "You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

⁵ While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him."

¹⁷ Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."
