⁶ Yahweh God prepared a vine, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to deliver him from his discomfort. So Jonah was exceedingly glad because of the vine.

⁹ Then went Haman forth that day joyful and glad of heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he didn't stand up nor move for him, he was filled with wrath against Mordecai.

¹⁰ He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor repaid us for our iniquities.

¹¹ For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.

¹² As far as the east is from the west, So far has he removed our transgressions from us.

¹³ Like a father has compassion on his children, So Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.

¹⁴ For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust.

² Hezekiah was glad of them, and shown them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn't show them.

¹³ You who rejoice in a thing of nothing, who say, 'Haven't we taken for ourselves horns by our own strength?'

¹⁷ Yahweh prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

²⁰ Nevertheless, don't rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

³⁰ and those who weep, as though they didn't weep; and those who rejoice, as though they didn't rejoice; and those who buy, as though they didn't possess;
