¹⁰ "'If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep, or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without blemish.

⁴ Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat of it. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering,

²⁰ Noah built an altar to Yahweh, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

⁵ Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:

² "Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the cattle, from the herd and from the flock.

³ "'If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

²³ if his sin, in which he has sinned, is made known to him, he shall bring as his offering a goat, a male without blemish.

¹⁹ that you may be accepted, you shall offer a male without blemish, of the bulls, of the sheep, or of the goats.

⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

⁷ He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn't open his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is mute, so he didn't open his mouth.

¹⁴ "But the deceiver is cursed, who has in his flock a male, and vows, and sacrifices to the Lord a blemished thing; for I am a great King," says Yahweh of hosts, "and my name is awesome among the nations."

²⁹ The next day, he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
