²² "'You shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my ordinances, and do them; that the land, where I am bringing you to dwell, may not vomit you out.

²⁵ The land was defiled: therefore I punished its iniquity, and the land vomitted out her inhabitants.

²⁶ You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native-born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you;

²⁷ (for all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you, and the land became defiled);

²⁸ that the land not vomit you out also, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

¹⁰⁶ I have sworn, and have confirmed it, That I will obey your righteous ordinances.

¹⁴⁵ I have called with my whole heart. Answer me, Yahweh! I will keep your statutes.

¹⁶⁰ All of your words are truth. Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever.

¹⁶⁴ Seven times a day, I praise you, Because of your righteous ordinances.

¹⁷¹ Let my lips utter praise, For you teach me your statutes.

¹⁷⁵ Let my soul live, that I may praise you. Let your ordinances help me.

⁸ Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, have we waited for you; to your name, even to your memorial [name], is the desire of our soul.

⁹ With my soul have I desired you in the night; yes, with my spirit within me will I seek you earnestly: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

²⁷ I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them.

⁸⁰ Let my heart be blameless toward your decrees, That I may not be disappointed.

²⁰ My soul is consumed with longing for your ordinances at all times.

⁴ You shall do my ordinances, and you shall keep my statutes, and walk in them: I am Yahweh your God.

⁵ You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances; which if a man does, he shall live in them: I am Yahweh.

³⁷ You shall observe all my statutes, and all my ordinances, and do them. I am Yahweh.'"

³³ I will scatter you among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you: and your land will be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.

⁴⁵ these are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which Moses spoke to the children of Israel, when they came forth out of Egypt,

¹ Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears this day, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.

²⁵ Yahweh will cause you to be struck before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them, and shall flee seven ways before them: and you shall be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.

²⁶ Your dead body shall be food to all birds of the sky, and to the animals of the earth; and there shall be none to frighten them away.

⁸ Yahweh's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Yahweh's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.

⁹ The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever. Yahweh's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.

¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.

¹¹ Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.

⁴⁵ That they might keep his statutes, And observe his laws. Praise Yah!
