⁴⁸ after he is sold he may be redeemed. One of his brothers may redeem him;

⁵ Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brothers, our children as their children: and, behold, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought into bondage [already]: neither is it in our power to help it; for other men have our fields and our vineyards.

²⁵ "'If your brother becomes poor, and sells some of his possessions, then his kinsman who is next to him shall come, and redeem that which his brother has sold.

³⁵ "'If your brother has become poor, and his hand can't support him among you; then you shall uphold him. As a stranger and a sojourner he shall live with you.

⁸ I said to them, We after our ability have redeemed our brothers the Jews, that were sold to the nations; and would you even sell your brothers, and should they be sold to us? Then held they their peace, and found never a word.

⁴ But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,

⁵ that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.

¹¹ For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."},

¹² saying, "I will declare your name to my brothers. In the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise."

¹³ Again, "I will put my trust in him." Again, "Behold, here am I and the children whom God has given me."
