John 1:34

34 I have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God."

John 1:29

29 The next day, he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

John 1:15-17

15 John testified about him. He cried out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.'"

4 John came baptizing{To baptize means to immerse in (or wash with) water (or fire). This baptizm is not just to cleanse the body, but as an outward sign of an inward spiritual cleansing and commitment.} in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins.

Ephesians 1:7

7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
