³⁷ But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

¹⁴ Fear came on me, and trembling, Which made all my bones shake.

¹⁵ Then a spirit passed before my face; The hair of my flesh stood up.

¹⁶ It stood still, but I couldn't discern the appearance of it; A form was before my eyes. Silence, then I heard a voice, saying,

¹³ The king said to her, Don't be afraid: for what do you see? The woman said to Saul, I see a god coming up out of the earth.

²⁶ When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It's a ghost!" and they cried out for fear.

²⁷ But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying "Cheer up! I AM!{see Exodus 3:14.} Don't be afraid."

⁴⁹ but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out;

⁵⁰ for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them, and said to them, "Cheer up! It is I!{Literally, "I AM!"} Don't be afraid."

³⁰ "He said, 'No, father Abraham, but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.'

¹⁵ They said to her, "You are crazy!" But she insisted that it was so. They said, "It is his angel."
