Cross reference

Luke 3:38

38 the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

Genesis 4:25-3

25 Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth. For, she said, "God has appointed me another child instead of Abel, for Cain killed him."

26 There was also born a son to Seth, and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on Yahweh's name.

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him in God's likeness.

2 He created them male and female, and blessed them, and called their name Adam,{"Adam" and "Man" are spelled with the exact same consonants in Hebrew, so this can be correctly translated either way.} in the day when they were created.

3 Adam lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.

Genesis 1:26-27

26 God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

27 God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them.

Genesis 2:7

Isaiah 64:8

8 But now, Yahweh, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.

Acts 17:26-29

26 He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings,

27 that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.

28 'For in him we live, and move, and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also his offspring.'

29 Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold, or silver, or stone, engraved by art and design of man.

1 Corinthians 15:45

45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:47

47 The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.
