³³ He answered them, "Who are my mother and my brothers?"

²¹ When his friends heard it, they went out to seize him: for they said, "He is insane."

³ Isn't this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" They were offended at him.

⁹ Who said of his father, and of his mother, I have not seen him; Neither did he acknowledge his brothers, Nor knew he his own children: For they have observed your word, Keep your covenant.

⁴⁹ He said to them, "Why were you looking for me? Didn't you know that I must be in my Father's house?"

⁴ Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come."

³ His brothers therefore said to him, "Depart from here, and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do.

⁴ For no one does anything in secret, and himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world."

⁵ For even his brothers didn't believe in him.

¹⁶ Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
