⁷ Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea,

¹⁷ He came down with them, and stood on a level place, with a crowd of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases;

²⁵ Great multitudes from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and from beyond the Jordan followed him.

¹⁵ Jesus, perceiving that, withdrew from there. Great multitudes followed him; and he healed them all,

¹⁰ The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroea. When they arrived, they went into the Jewish synagogue.

⁵³ So from that day forward they took counsel that they might put him to death.

⁵⁴ Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews, but departed from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim. He stayed there with his disciples.

⁵² They answered him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search, and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee."

⁵ But they insisted, saying, "He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place."

¹² It happened in these days, that he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.

³⁹ He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out demons.

²³ But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most assuredly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man has come.

³² Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammothdor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.

⁷ They set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill-country of Naphtali, and Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Kiriath Arba (the same is Hebron) in the hill-country of Judah.

¹⁴ Then the brothers immediately sent out Paul to go as far as to the sea, and Silas and Timothy still stayed there.

⁵ When some of both the Gentiles and the Jews, with their rulers, made a violent attempt to mistreat and stone them,

⁶ they became aware of it, and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, Derbe, and the surrounding region.

³⁹ They sought again to seize him, and he went out of their hand.

⁴⁰ He went away again beyond the Jordan into the place where John was baptizing at first, and there he stayed.

⁴¹ Many came to him. They said, "John indeed did no sign, but everything that John said about this man is true."

⁴¹ Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "What, does the Christ come out of Galilee?
