³³ While the flesh was yet between their teeth, before it was chewed, the anger of Yahweh was kindled against the people, and Yahweh struck the people with a very great plague.

³⁰ They didn't turn from their cravings. Their food was yet in their mouths,

³¹ When the anger of God went up against them, Killed some of the fattest of them, And struck down the young men of Israel.

⁴⁹ Now those who died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides those who died about the matter of Korah.

⁹ Those who died by the plague were twenty-four thousand.

¹⁴ But gave in to craving in the desert, And tested God in the wasteland.

¹⁵ He gave them their request, But sent leanness into their soul.

²⁷ Yahweh will strike you with the boil of Egypt, and with the tumors, and with the scurvy, and with the itch, of which you can not be healed.
