⁸ Yahweh is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.

¹⁵ But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, Slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

³ Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

¹³ Tear your heart, and not your garments, And turn to Yahweh, your God; For he is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, And relents from sending calamity.

⁸ Yahweh is gracious, merciful, Slow to anger, and of great loving kindness.

¹⁷ and refused to obey, neither were mindful of your wonders that you did among them, but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But you are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and didn't forsake them.

⁶ Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, "Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,

⁷ keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children's children, on the third and on the fourth generation."

¹¹ Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

² He prayed to Yahweh, and said, "Please, Yahweh, wasn't this what I said when I was still in my own country? Therefore I hurried to flee to Tarshish, for I knew that you are a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and you repent of the evil.

⁵ For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; Abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.

¹⁸ Yahweh is slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, forgiving iniquity and disobedience; and that will by no means clear [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation.

⁷ in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

⁸ which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

¹⁸ who show loving kindness to thousands, and recompense the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them; the great, the mighty God, Yahweh of Hosts is his name;

⁷ let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

⁷ Israel, hope in Yahweh, For with Yahweh there is loving kindness. With him is abundant redemption.

²⁰ The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly;

²¹ that as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
