¹¹⁶ Uphold me according to your word, that I may live. Let me not be ashamed of my hope.

⁵ and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

² My God, I have trusted in you, Don't let me be shamed. Don't let my enemies triumph over me.

²⁴ Though he stumble, he shall not fall, For Yahweh holds him up with his hand.

¹⁷ For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But Yahweh upholds the righteous.

⁶ Because it is contained in Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, and precious: He who believes in him will not be disappointed."

¹¹ For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed."

¹⁷ [But] Israel shall be saved by Yahweh with an everlasting salvation: you shall not be disappointed nor confounded world without end.

¹ Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

¹⁰ Don't you be afraid, for I am with you; don't be dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

¹⁸ When I said, "My foot is slipping!" Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up.

⁸ My soul stays close to you. Your right hand holds me up.

⁴ Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.

¹² As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, And set me in your presence forever.

³² Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;

³³ even as it is written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; And no one who believes in him will be disappointed."
