1 Chronicles 29:17

17 I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy your people, that are present here, offer willingly to you.

Psalms 7:1-8

1 > Yahweh, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,

2 Lest they tear apart my soul like a lion, Ripping it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

3 Yahweh, my God, if I have done this, If there is iniquity in my hands,

4 If I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (Yes, I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),

5 Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; Yes, let him tread my life down to the earth, And lay my glory in the dust. Selah.

6 Arise, Yahweh, in your anger. Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries. Awake for me. You have commanded judgment.

7 Let the congregation of the peoples surround you. Rule over them on high.

8 Yahweh administers judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Yahweh, according to my righteousness, And to my integrity that is in me.

Matthew 5:29-30

30 If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not your whole body be thrown into Gehenna.

Matthew 18:8-9

8 If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.

9 If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna{or, Hell} of fire.
