²⁰ Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, Nor his loving kindness from me.

¹⁴ I will be his father, and he shall be my son: if he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;

¹⁵ but my loving kindness shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you.

²⁴ For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, Neither has he hidden his face from him; But when he cried to him, he heard.

¹¹ Don't throw me from your presence, And don't take your holy Spirit from me.

³⁵ You are awesome, God, in your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God!

¹² I will praise you, Lord my God, with my whole heart. I will glorify your name forevermore.

¹³ For your loving kindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.
