¹ In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed.

¹ > In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed: Deliver me in your righteousness.

² Bow down your ear to me. Deliver me speedily. Be to me a strong rock, A house of defense to save me.

³ For you are my rock and my fortress, Therefore for your name's sake lead me and guide me.

² My God, I have trusted in you, Don't let me be shamed. Don't let my enemies triumph over me.

³ Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.

¹ > Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, Which can't be moved, but remains forever.

⁶ Because it is contained in Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, and precious: He who believes in him will not be disappointed."

³³ even as it is written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; And no one who believes in him will be disappointed."

¹⁸ Let them be disappointed who persecute me, but let not me be disappointed; let them be dismayed, but don't let me be dismayed; bring on them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

¹⁷ [But] Israel shall be saved by Yahweh with an everlasting salvation: you shall not be disappointed nor confounded world without end.

⁵ Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:

⁵ They cried to you, and were delivered. They trusted in you, and were not disappointed.

²⁰ They were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them; for they cried to God in the battle, and he was entreated of them, because they put their trust in him.

⁵ He trusted in Yahweh, the God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor [among them] that were before him.
