Psalms 79:1

1 > God, the nations have come into your inheritance. They have defiled your holy temple. They have laid Jerusalem in heaps.

Micah 3:12

9 He burnt the house of Yahweh, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burnt he with fire.

10 All the army of the Chaldeans, who were [with] the captain of the guard, broke down the walls of Jerusalem round about.

2 Chronicles 36:3-4

3 The king of Egypt deposed him at Jerusalem, and fined the land one hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.

4 The king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. Neco took Joahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.

2 Chronicles 36:6-7

6 Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.

7 Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of Yahweh to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.

Psalms 74:1-4

1 > God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?

2 Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, Which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance; Mount Zion, in which you have lived.

3 Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, All the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.

4 Your adversaries have roared in the midst of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.

Psalms 74:7-8

7 They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling-place of your Name.

8 They said in their heart, "We will crush them completely." They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.

Psalms 78:71

71 From following the ewes that have their young, He brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, And Israel, his inheritance.

Psalms 80:12-13

12 Why have you broken down its walls, So that all those who pass by the way pluck it?

13 The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.

Isaiah 47:6

6 I was angry with my people, I profaned my inheritance, and gave them into your hand: you did show them no mercy; on the aged have you very heavily laid your yoke.

2 Kings 21:12-16

12 therefore thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, Behold, I bring such evil on Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears shall tingle.

13 I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

14 I will cast off the remnant of my inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

15 because they have done that which is evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even to this day.

16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, until he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; besides his sin with which he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh.
