⁹ Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, That glory may dwell in our land.

⁵ For I,' says Yahweh, 'will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.

¹³ I bring near my righteousness, it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not wait; and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

¹⁴ The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

¹³ He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, and saying to him, 'Send to Joppa, and get Simon, whose surname is Peter,

¹⁴ who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.'

² a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.

³ At about the ninth hour of the day{3:00 PM}, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, "Cornelius!"

⁴ He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, "What is it, Lord?" He said to him, "Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.

¹⁷ If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself.

³² A light for revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of your people Israel."

³² The scribe said to him, "Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he,

³³ and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."

³⁴ When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the Kingdom of God." No one dared ask him any question after that.

⁸ For thus says Yahweh of hosts: 'For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

⁷ and I will shake all nations. The precious things of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says Yahweh of Hosts.

⁸ The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,' says Yahweh of Hosts.

⁹ 'The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,' says Yahweh of Hosts; 'and in this place will I give peace,' says Yahweh of Hosts."

²⁰ then will I bring you down with those who descend into the pit, to the people of old time, and will make you to dwell in the lower parts of the earth, in the places that are desolate of old, with those who go down to the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I will set glory in the land of the living:

⁵ Yahweh will create over the whole habitation of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.

¹⁵⁵ Salvation is far from the wicked, For they don't seek your statutes.

²³ Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, And prepares his way so that I will show God's salvation to him."

⁴ He who has clean hands and a pure heart; Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, And has not sworn deceitfully.

⁵ He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, Righteousness from the God of his salvation.

¹⁶ Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, "Men of Israel, and you who fear God, listen.
