⁶ He said to me, "These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon."

¹ This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel to his servant, John,

⁵ He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

⁹ He said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" He said to me, "These are true words of God."

³² The dream was doubled to Pharaoh, because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

¹¹ searching for who or what kind of time the Spirit of Christ, which was in them, pointed to, when he predicted the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that would follow them.

¹² To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

⁷ "Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

²⁰ Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets; for God has judged your judgment on her."

² that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandments of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior:

²¹ For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

² which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,

¹⁸ But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.

¹⁶ The law and the prophets were until John. From that time the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.

⁷⁰ (As he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets who have been from of old),

⁴¹ The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity,

²² My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me; because as before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, have I done no hurt.

²⁸ Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

²⁹ But I say this, brothers: the time is short, that from now on, both those who have wives may be as though they had none;

³² The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets,

⁷ and to give relief to you that are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

⁹ Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

⁸ But don't forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

⁹ The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

¹¹ When Peter had come to himself, he said, "Now I truly know that the Lord has sent out his angel and delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from everything the Jewish people were expecting."
