⁵ through whom we received grace and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;

⁷ The word of God increased and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem exceedingly. A great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

³ For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, "Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

²⁵ to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place."

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun even to the going down of the same, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering: for my name is great among the nations," says Yahweh of Hosts.

¹⁴ "But the deceiver is cursed, who has in his flock a male, and vows, and sacrifices to the Lord a blemished thing; for I am a great King," says Yahweh of hosts, "and my name is awesome among the nations."

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

¹⁰ who in time past were no people, but now are God's people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

⁹ Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,

¹¹ according to the Gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

¹² And I thank him who enabled me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service;

² if it is so that you have heard of the administration of that grace of God which was given me toward you;

³ how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,

⁴ by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ;

⁵ which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;

⁶ that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the Gospel,

⁷ of which I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.

⁸ To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

⁹ and to make all men see what is the administration{TR reads "fellowship" instead of "administration"} of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ;

¹² to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:

¹⁴ Simeon has reported how God first visited the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

²⁹ Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn't he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,

¹⁵ But I write the more boldly to you in part, as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God,

¹⁶ that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the Gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,

¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God's Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ;

² If to others I am not an apostle, yet at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

⁵ not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;

⁶ who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

⁴ for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,

⁵ throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

⁶ and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full.

¹⁵ But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me through his grace,

¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn't immediately confer with flesh and blood,

⁸ (for he who appointed Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision appointed me also to the Gentiles);

⁹ and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.

⁶ to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved,

¹⁶ From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.
