¹ Behold, a day of Yahweh comes, when your spoil will be divided in your midst.

⁹ Behold, the day of Yahweh comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger; to make the land a desolation, and to destroy the sinners of it out of it.

⁶ Wail; for the day of Yahweh is at hand; as destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

¹² For there will be a day of Yahweh of Hosts for all that is proud and haughty, And for all that is lifted up; And it shall be brought low:

³¹ The sun will be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes.

¹⁴ Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahweh is near, in the valley of decision.

¹ "For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace; and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, will be stubble; and the day that comes will burn them up," says Yahweh of Hosts, "that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

⁵ Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes.

²⁰ The sun will be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

¹⁴ for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of that great day of God, the Almighty.
