Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Ref To the Overseer, `On the Gittith.' A Psalm of David. Jehovah, our Lord, How honourable Thy name in all the earth! Who settest thine honour on the heavens.
2 Ref From the mouths of infants and sucklings Thou hast founded strength, Because of Thine adversaries, To still an enemy and a self-avenger.
3 Ref For I see Thy heavens, a work of Thy fingers, Moon and stars that Thou didst establish.
4 Ref What `is' man that Thou rememberest him? The son of man that Thou inspectest him?
5 Ref And causest him to lack a little of Godhead, And with honour and majesty compassest him.
6 Ref Thou dost cause him to rule Over the works of Thy hands, All Thou hast placed under his feet.
7 Ref Sheep and oxen, all of them, And also beasts of the field,
8 Ref Bird of the heavens, and fish of the sea, Passing through the paths of the seas!
9 Ref Jehovah, our Lord, How honourable Thy name in all the earth!

2 Ref Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established strength, Because of thine adversaries, That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 Ref When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 Ref What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 Ref For thou hast made him but little lower than God, And crownest him with glory and honor.
6 Ref Thou makest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 Ref All sheep and oxen, Yea, and the beasts of the field,
8 Ref The birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, Whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

2 Ref You have made clear your strength even out of the mouths of babies at the breast, because of those who are against you; so that you may put to shame the cruel and violent man.
3 Ref When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have put in their places;
4 Ref What is man, that you keep him in mind? the son of man, that you take him into account?
5 Ref For you have made him only a little lower than the gods, crowning him with glory and honour.
6 Ref You have made him ruler over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet;
7 Ref All sheep and oxen, and all the beasts of the field;
8 Ref The birds of the air and the fish of the sea, and whatever goes through the deep waters of the seas.
